Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is planning to use his strongest possible starting eleven in this evening’s Serie A opener against Lecce.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that while the coach has some selection doubts for the match, his idea is to turn to his strongest lineup for the match.

The fitness of defenders Milan Skriniar and Alessandro Bastoni has the coach considering using Matteo Darmian and Federico Dimarco on the right and left of the back three respectively, where they played in preseason as the first-choice players got up to speed fitness-wise.

However, Inzaghi is more inclined towards starting the first-choice back three for this evening’s match, whilst he will also likely use Hakan Calhanoglu in midfield from the start rather than new signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The Corriere’s complete predicted starting eleven for the match is as follows:

Inter (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu, Gosens; Lukaku, Lautaro.
