Juventus defender Bremer doesn’t feel that he missed out on his desired move by joining the Bianconeri despite having long been linked with a transfer to Inter this summer.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, the 25-year-old gave his thoughts on his situation in the summer transfer window and emphasized that he is happy with his choice of club.

Bremer had been linked with a move from Torino to Inter for some months, but then at the start of the last month when the Nerazzurri finally tried to make the decisive to move for him, they found themselves facing stiff competition for his signature in the form of Juventus.

The Bianconeri had lost Matthijs de Ligt to Bayern and needed to replace the Dutchman with a top-level defender, and by reinvesting a significant chunk of the large fee they’d received from Bayern they made an offer to both Torino and Bremer that the Nerazzurri couldn’t match.

The defender explained that “I always heard from my agent but I didn’t know which clubs he was talking to. Then I made the move to Juve which was the club I wanted to join.”

“I’m happy here,” the Brazilian added. “I’m enjoying playing under Allegri and we always want to win.”
