Paris Saint-Germain President Nasser Al-Khlaifi could still green light a move for Inter defender Milan Skriniar late in the transfer window.

This according to French news outlet L’Equipe, who report that the the Parisians have not lost their interest in signing the 27-year-old and that their President could play a decisive role in unlocking a transfer as he has already done with other deals this summer.

It has now been a number of weeks that have gone by without PSG raising their offer for Skriniar from the one that Inter decisively rejected, but this does not mean that they aren’t still interested in bringing the Nerazzurri defender to the French capital.

The player already has an informal agreement with PSG Sporting Advisor Luis Campos should the clubs agree a deal, although this still looks far away from happening.

Nevertheless, the final say could be Al-Khlaifi, who has already been the person to make key decisions in the French champions’ pursuit of the likes of Nordi Mukiele and Robert Lewandowski, and should he decide to green light a move they could still make a blockbuster offer late in the window.
