The sale of midfielder Cesare Casadei to Chelsea for an initial €15 million plus €5 million in add-ons does not rule out Inter selling Milan Skriniar before the end of the transfer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri could still listen to offers for the Slovakian, and that any final decision would belong to President Steven Zhang.

Inter are pocketing a sizable fee for a player who has never made an appearance in their first team in the form of Casadei, and the hope from some is that this transfer fee plus that received for Andrea Pinamonti will be enough to guarantee that Skriniar won’t be sold.

However, the 27-year-old would not be entirely off the market just yet, nor would his teammate Denzel Dumfries, and if Paris Saint-Germain decide to make an offer higher than their existing €60 million bit the Nerazzurri could listen.

Ultimately, it will be Zhang’s decision whether or not to accept any bids from the Parisians, but the Preisdent would not entirely rule out accepting an offer on the basis that Casadei’s sale has brought in a cash influx.
