Legendary former Inter, Real Madrid, Roma, and Sampdoria forward Antonio Cassano believes that Inter, AC Milan, and Juventus are the three teams who will be able to fight for the Serie A title until the end.
Speaking in a video on his Instagram story, as reported by FCInter1908, Cassano gave his predictions for the Serie A title race, and suggested that the Nerazzurri’s summer transfer window improvements could be crucial to their bid to win back the Scudetto.
Inter, Milan, and Juventus all won their opening match of the Serie A season, as did other potential title contenders such as Roma, Napoli, Lazio, and Atalanta, and so no obvious indications have arisen as to who will be the quick frontrunner or lag behind early on.
However, given the quality of their respective squads and the chemistry that they’ve shown, the Nerazzurri, the Rossoneri, and the Bianconeri all look to be well-positioned.
“Juve, Inter and Milan are the favourites for the Scudetto,” Cassadno argued, “they’re the three strongest teams. Inter because they’ve strengthened, the same goes for Juve, but I see Milan as having more self-belief, maybe not as strong as the other two, but they know what it takes.”
