Inter are planning to hold a special training session at the San Siro on Friday to prepare for their Serie A home opener against Spezia this weekend.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi has scheduled the training for the players to get used to the pitch at their home stadium once again.

Inter will make their home debut on Saturday, having played their first match of the Serie A season away to Lecce, and they will play in front of a sold out San Siro.

The last time that the Nerazzurri played at the stadium was on the final day of last season when they beat Sampdoria, and Inzaghi is aiming to get the players back up to speed playing on the pitch before they face Spezia.

Accordingly, the coach will take Friday as an opportunity to hold a special training session geared at getting the players mentally prepared for their Serie A home debut.
