Inter defender Federico Dimarco is putting the pressure on Robin Gosens and he could take his left wing spot for the match against Spezia, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, the expected return of Alessandro Bastoni to the Nerazzurri starting lineup means that Simone Inzaghi has a decision to make.

In the win over Lecce, Federico Dimarco played on the left of the back three and Robin Gosens took up the usual place on the left wing. Against Spezia though, there is likely to only be space in the team for one of them.

Robin Gosens is the first choice for that slot but Simone Inzaghi has been impressed by Federico Dimarco in pre-season and the coach may want to see what e can do with Romelu Lukaku there to get on the end of his crosses from the left.
