Inter must deal with competition from Juventus to sign Francesco Acerbi from Lazio this summer as was the case with Gleison Bremer, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri are starting to get more and more interested in the idea of signing Francesco Acerbi from Lazio after seeming reluctant for much of the summer.

Inter have been aware all summer long that the Italian defender represented a cheap option if needed who would be keen to join, but they are wary of him being the same age as Andrea Ranocchia who he would be replacing.

They will need to fend off interest from Juventus too though because the Bianconeri will need a new depth option at the back if they get rid of Daniele Rugani which is very likely in the next few days. Inter are running out of other options.
