Inter are set to be without Henrik Mkhitaryan for the match against Spezia this weekend as he aims to be fit for the derby, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media today.

As has been reported by Sky Sport in Italy, via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri have finished their training session for the day and there are two main elements of interest.

There was confirmation that Henrik Mkhitaryan will not be part of the squad for the Spezia and he is actually not expecting to be back in contention until the derby against AC Milan on September 3.

The other is that Simone Inzaghi has one major selection dilemma to address ahead of the game at San Siro.

He must decide whether Federico Dimarco or Robin Gosens will be lining up on the left wing against the Ligurian side.

It is expected that Denzel Dumfries and Alessandro Bastoni will return to the starting lineup.
