Inter’s academy has raised €160 million from player sales over the past five years which has been a boost to the club’s finances, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, there are a number of talented stars who came through the Inter academy and made the club a very tidy profit.

Names such as Cristiano Birgahi, Lorenzo Crisetig, Daniel Bessa, Andreaw Gravillon and many more have continued to have great careers after being sold to Inter.

The figure has been boosted a lot this summer because Andrea Pinamonti has been sold to Sassuolo in a €20 million deal and Cesare Casadei is set to move to Chelsea for an initial fee of €15 million. Michele Di Gregorio has also been sold to Monza.

The biggest name to leave the Inter academy was Nicolo Zaniolo who moved to AS Roma as part of the Radja Nainggolan deal.
