Inter’s initial earnings from the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League will be €36.4 million but they could raise to a figure in the triple digits, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Nerazzurri will be reaping the financial benefits of being in Europe’s premier competition during the new campaign.

Qualification to the group stages of the tournament guarantees Juventus €50 million, Napoli €40.1 million, AC Milan €37.2 million and Inter €36.4 million.

There are €3.5 billion in TV rights and sponsors to be distributed between the clubs but it depends on conditions. Participation gets Inter €15.6 million, and then historical ranking in the last 10 years means Inter gets €14.8 million.

The results and market pool is where the rest comes from. There is €40 million for Italian teams and Inter gets €6 million, hence €36.4 million.

As a possible maximum, Juventus can reach €128 million, the other three in a range between €118 million and €114 million.
