Lazio have shown that they are open to loaning Francesco Acerbi to Inter whilst the Nerazzurri have asked Chelsea about Trevoh Chalobah, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, contacts have continued between Inter and Lazio over the deal for Francesco Acerbiwho is thought to be Simone Inzaghi’s favoured choice to bring more depth in defence.

Lazio have shown that they would be willing to let the Italian leave on a loan deal although it will have to be decided if there is a mandatory purchase or an optional one next summer.

The story is different for Trevoh Chalobah who Inter asked for details about during the negotiations that saw Cesare Casadei agree to move to Chelsea.

Chelsea are not willing to let the 23-year-old defender leave the club on a loan deal which is an issue as Inter would not be able to afford a transfer fee.
