Inter striker Romelu Lukaku is aiming to be fully integrated into Simone Inzaghi’s version of Inter by the time the Nerazzurri face AC Milan, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, the Belgian striker received some criticism for his display in the win against Lecce.

Despite the fact that he got the first goal after just 90seconds, it was clear that he is not yet at peak fitness and he also needs to learn how this version of Inter plays.

It is just a matter of time before he reaches this stage and both he and Inter want it to be when they face AC Milan on September 3.

That leaves three games between now and then for him to build an on-field rapport with the midfield behind him and reignite his link with Lautaro Martinez in the attack.
