Simone Inzaghi has been very clear with the hierarchy of the club that he doe snot want to lose a star player and he does want a new defender, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere della Sera today, the Inter coach is not afraid to tell the owners what he wants from the rest of the window. He has got two serious requests.

One is that the club do not sell a key player at the end of the summer like they did last season with Romelu Lukaku.

The two players heavily linked with moves are Milan Skriniar and Denzel Dumfries. It is thought a bid at asking price could make Suning think.

The other request is that a new central defender joins the club so that there is enough depth in that position. Andrea Ranocchia is yet to be replaced.
