Inter want to take Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah on a loan deal that has an option to make the deal permanent, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, there is a continued dialogue between Inter and Chelsea as there has been for much of the summer.

The two clubs were first linked by the return to Inter of Romelu Lukaku and then for the transfer of Cesare Casadei who is set to make a move for €15 million with €5 million in add-ons.

Now they are discussing 23-year-old English defender Trevoh Chalobah who Inter have got an interest in adding to their squad.

Inter want to take him on loan this season and they want to have the option to make the deal permanent next summer. That means that they are not committing to a big transfer outlay whilst still adding depth.
