There will be a meeting on Friday between the agent of Inter target Francesco Acerbi and the president of Lazio, Claudio Lotito, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, Federico Pastorello will be meeting with the Biancocelesti to try and help move along the deal with Inter.

The Nerazzurri seem more and more convinced that Francesco Acerbi is the player that they should sign this summer to add more depth to the defence.

The player wants the move and Lazio may accept a loan deal. They would likely want a compulsory purchase by Inter at the end of the loan for a small fee.

Inter may well go along with that as they have not had the green light from the ownership to make a proper offer for a player like Manuel Akanji who would likely cost €15 million.
