Chelsea are ready to let young defender Trevoh Chalobah leave on a dry loan and Inter is an option for him, according to a report in the UK media this evening.

As has been reported by The Athletic in the UK, the 23-year-old defender is not in Thomas Tuchels plans this season and the Blues would be willing to let him go out on loan without any mandatory purchase.

The player has asked to leave for more game time. His current deal with the Premier League side does not run out until 2026 which means he could still have a serious future with Chelsea.

There is plenty of interest in him from Premier League and Serie A clubs who are in European competitions this summer. That is an important factor in choosing where he will play.

He could represent a very cost-effective way for Inter to add more depth in defence.
