Chelsea could agree on a deal to send defender Trevoh Chalobah to Inter on loan, which would be a formula which would work well for the Nerazzurri.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Blues would prefer to loan out the 23-year-old rather than sell him permanently this summer, which could play in Inter’s favour.

Inter have identified Chalobah as one of their possible targets to add one more defender to the squad before the summer transfer window slams shut, as they are fans of the Englishman’s profile and feel that he could do a good job of replacing Andrea Ranocchia.

As far as Chelsea are concerned, they could consider letting the 23-year-old leave before the end of the transfer window, although their priority would likely be to not permanently lose control of his future.

In this respect, the Premier League giants would be more receptive to an offer of a loan move, which may well align with what Inter prefer as they would want their final defensive signing of the summer to come at minimal cost.
