Former AC Milan striker Filippo Maniero has said that AC Milan have got what it takes to fight with Inter and Juventus this season, according to a report in the Italian media.
Speaking during an interview with Milan News, the former striker who played for many teams in Italy discussed who will be finding themselves at the top of the Serie A table in June 2023.
After the first weekend of fixtures, there is very little to deduce from the teams at the top as they all won their games.
He explained that things change every single year and AC Milan have still got what it takes to stay at the top and they will be challenged by Inter and Juventus.
“Every season the dynamics change. The Rossoneri have all the cards to stay up there and fight, but teams like Inter and Juventus will play their part.”
The other team that he decided to throw into the mix was AS Roma who have had a very good transfer window and won their first game away at Salernitana.
“Also keep an eye on Roma, who have had a very good summer.”
