Striker Romelu Lukaku’s family were at the San Siro yesterday where they watched the 29-year-old make his second home debut for Inter in a 3-0 Serie A win over Spezia.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Belgian’s mother Adolphine as well as his son Romeo were among those in attendance as he helped the team to another three points early on in their Serie A campaign.
Lukaku did not get on the scoresheet in front of the home fans yesterday as he had done very early on in the team’s first match of the season away to Lecce, but he did set up his old strike partner Lautaro Martinez for the Nerazzurri’s opener.
Inter sent their fans home happy with a straightforward 3-0 win, and Lukaku’s family will be as pleased and proud as anyone that he and the team have gotten the season off to the start that they’ll have wanted.
