Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has thanked fans for their support and well wishes as he turned 25 today.
Speaking in a video on InterTV, the Argentine gave his thoughts and expressed gratitude to not just the Nerazzurri supporters but also to all of his teammates and staff for helping him out at Inter and reiterated their goal to keep having a successful season.
Martinez joined Inter from Racing Club during the summer of 2018, and at the time he was still a very young player whose quality was evident but who could not be said to have reached maturity as a player.
However, the Argentine has seemed to grow a bit in every one of his four seasons at Inter, and now entering his fifth he looks to be better than ever.
It is worth remembering, however, that Martinez is only just turning 25, and so many of his best years could still be ahead of him in a Nerazzurri shirt.
“Thanks to all the fans and everyone who supports us, and thanks to my teammates and all the staff for always being there with me,” he said on his birthday. “We hope that we can keep going on this path we’re on.”
