The Stadio Olimpico could be sold out when Inter visit to face Lazio in their third Serie A match of the season on Friday.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Il Messaggero, who report that the match is getting closer and closer to a full house with the vast majority of tickets sold already, whilst as many as 10,000 Inter fans could be in attendance.
Inter will hope to keep their winning start to the campaign going against their most difficult opponent yet on paper when they face Lazio, whilst the Biancocelesti will be looking to claim a big scalp after a dramatic opening day win against Bologna and a hard-fought draw with Torino.
Excitement is high from both sets of supporters, and the Lazio fans could sell out the more than 70,000 seats at the Stadio Olimpico, whilst the Nerazzurri supporters will be travelling in full force to watch the team.
