Inter still haven’t made a final decision on whether to sign defender Francesco Acerbi on loan from Lazio after a meeting with his agent concluded this afternoon.

This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who reported in a tweet that after the meeting with Acerbi’s agent Federico Pastorello the Nerazzurri are still considering their options, and still looking at Borussia Dortmund’s Manuel Akanji and Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah.

Inter held a meeting with Pastorello this afternoon where they discussed the situation of Acerbi, who is reportedly hoping to join the Nerazzurri on loan before the end of the transfer window.

The Nerazzurri have just a week left to make a final decision on the last defensive signing to be made this summer, but according to Pedulla this decision won’t come for another few days at least, with both Akanji and Chalobah still being seriously considered.

He tweeted that “The meeting between Inter and Acerbi’s agent Pastorello is done without a final decision – he remains a candidate, but Inter will continue to think about it until Friday’s match. And they’re still evaluating the other two options (Akanji and Chalobah), but only on loan.”
