Agents Paolo Busardo and Frank Trimboli will meet with Chelsea tomorrow to try and convince them to allow defender Trevoh Chalobah to join Inter on loan.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the agents who are intermediaries involved in the negotiations will see if they can persuade the Blues to open up to a deal that would be feasible to the Nerazzurri, who are still prioritizing the 23-year-old over Lazio’s Francesco Acerbi.

Inter would only want a loan deal containing a purchase option for Chalobah and would not sign the Englishman on a loan deal if it contained a mandatory obligation to sign him permanently at the end of the loan.

It will remain to be seen if Chelsea could be convinced on such a formula for a deal, but it is possible that Busardo and Trimboli could persuade the Premier League giants to agree to a paid loan with a low fee, but include a purchase option at a relatively high fee.

Busardo has spent today in negotiations regarding a possible move of Antonin Barak to Fiorentina, whilst Trimboli is in London working on a deal to send Layvin Kurzawa from Paris Saint-Germain to Fulham.

Should the Nerazzurri prove to be unable to sign Chalobah, then they would be immediately ready to sign Acerbi as a backup option.
