Henrikh Mkhitaryan has not travelled with the rest of the Inter squad for the match against Lazio in Rome which takes place on Friday night, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As has been reported by Sky Sport Italia, via FCInternews, the Armenian is the only member of the Nerazzurri squad who is not travelling to Rome for the game.

He has been injured for a week or two now and has been training separately from the rest of the Inter squad.

He is aiming to be fit for the Derby della Madonnina which is on September 3 and will be the biggest game of the season so far for Simone Inzaghi and his side.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan joined Inter on a free transfer this summer from AS Roma as he wanted to play in the Champions League and Inter were able to offer him slightly more money than the Giallorossi.
