Inter are set to take home almost €16 million from the UEFA Champions League historical ranking as the Nerazzurri have overtaken AC Milan, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported by Calcio e Finanza who specialise in the financial side of the sport, there is €600.6 million to be distributed to the teams in the 2022/24 tournament based on their historical ranking within the tournament.
Historically, Inter have actually now overtaken city rivals AC Milan in the ranking and will now take home more than them for this campaign.
Inter are in 19th place and get €15,925,000 million. AC Milan are in 20th and get €14,787,500 million.
Napoli are up in 17th place in the standings and Juventus are much higher in fourth as knockout stage regulars in the past decade.
Real Madrid lead the way and they are followed by Bayern Munich and then Barcelona. The top five is rounded out by Chelsea.
