Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin has said that Francesco Acerbi has a lot of experience and he knows the Inter coach but there is the question of cost and his age, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during an interview with Tutto Convocati, via FCInter1908, Fabrizio Biasin discussed the situation surrounding Lazio defender Francesco Acerbi and his possible move to Inter this summer.

The deal seems to be on standby right now because Inter are prioritisng a move for Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah on loan instead although there is work to do on finding a financial agreement with the Premier League side.

There is also the possibility that Manuel Akanji joins from Borussia Dortmund although that would take a serious change of heart from the Bundesliga side over the asking price.

Fabrizio Biasin pointed out the good points of Francesco Acerbi but admitted that the age is a problem.
