Italian Journalist Mario Sconcerti: “Inter The Most Complete Italian Team In European Competition This Season”

Italian journalist Mario Sconcerti believes that Inter are the Italian team best-equipped to succeed in European competition this season.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster TMW Radio, Sconcerti named the Nerazzurri as the team most capable of making their mark in the Champions League.

Inter, AC Milan, Napoli, and Juventus are all in the Champions League group stage with the draw scheduled for tomorrow, and all will be hoping that they can not only get past whoever their group stage opponents turn out to be, but also make a more positive impression than Italian teams did last season.

Last time around, Milan and Atalanta failed to get out of the group stage whilst Inter and Juventus both crashed out in the round of sixteen, to Liverpool and Villarreal respectively.

Sconcerti predicted that “The Nerazzurri seems to me to be the most complete team in terms of Europe competition, Juve are behind them, Napoli have looked brilliant in Italy but will be tested in Europe. Milan still need to be completed.”
