Kristjan Asllani could be in line to get his first start for Inter when the Nerazzurri face Cremonese next week, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Albanian midfielder has been impressing but is not expected to start the game against Lazio on Friday evening.

He is in the frame to get minutes in the midweek clash against newly-promoted Cremeonese as Simone Inzaghi will need to rotate his squad effectively as there are only three days between the two games.

It would be a testament to how impressive the player has been since he signed from Empoli if he were to start a game just four matchdays into the season.

As for the Lazio game, it is thought that Robin Gosens is favoured over Federico Dimarco for the left wingback slot when the team takes the field at the Stadio Olimpico.
