AC Milan will try to complete a deal for Inter target Trevoh Chalobah if Chelsea can sign Wesley Fofana from Leicester City, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, the Rossoneri are very serious about signing the player that has expressed a clear interest in signing for Inter this summer.

Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah is available to sign on loan but the Premier League side want to get their deal for Wesley Fofana from Leicester City over the line first before they allow the 23-year-old to leave the club.

AC Milan are in the same position as Inter where they need to sign a new defender to add more depth to the back line as they have lost a player on a free transfer who has not been replaced.

Inter have been working to find a financial agreement with Chelsea for the loan of Trevoh Chalobah.
