Inter can reach the milestone of four consecutive away wins in Serie A under Simone Inzaghi if they beat Lazio on Friday night, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported by Corriere della Sera, there are a number of different objectives that the Nerazzurri would like to hit during the Friday night clash at the Stadio Olimpico against Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio side.
The main one is that Inter have never won four consecutive away games when Simone Inzaghi has been in charge and they are currently up to three in a row. That means that the record can be broken away at Lazio on Friday night.
Beyond just that record, it would send a very big message to beat a fellow top team so early in the coming given it took Inter five goes last season to beat one of the other biggest teams in Serie A.
