Inter should try and target the flanks when they face Barcelona in the Champions League group stage but must be aware of Robert Lewandowski, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, Inter have got an extremely tough task on their hands to qualify from Group C in the Champions League as along with Viktoria Plzen, they have been drawn with both Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

Barcelona have got an extremely talented squad after a very busy summer transfer that has been filled with economic controversy.

There are two areas to exploit though and that is on each wing. As it stands they do not have a full-back on the right who fits into Xavi’s plans. On the left, they have Jordi Alba who is starting to show his age and then Alejandro Balde from the academy.

The threat of Robert Lewandowski still makes them a formidable opponent.
