Inter defender Robin Gosens has said that it will be a tough game against Lazio but they must bring consistency after the two wins to start the season, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during an interview with Inter TV ahead of the match at the Stadio Olimpico, via FCInternews, the German highlighted the need to build some momentum after the first two wins in the new Serie A campaign against Lecce and Spezia.

“For sure it will be a difficult match here against Lazio. But we’re here to win. In the past two games we have got six points. It’s important now to find continuity, it won’t be easy tonight but our style could help us win.”

The German wingback was also asked about how he is settling into the team now that he is entering his first full season as an Inter player. He joined from Atalanta in January but was injured until the latter stages of the season.

“After a difficult year last year it wasn’t easy to settle in, but I’m finding my rhythm again and I hope that soon I’ll be back to being the real Robin we all know.”

Robin Gosens is not starting the game as Simone Inzaghi has chosen to go with Federico Dimarco on the left wing as he has impressed in recent weeks. Robin Gosens still discussed what kind of battle it will be on the left.

“On the right flank my opponent would surely be Manuel Lazzari, in the past we have had good duels and it will be the same this evening.”
