The best players in the Inter squad all greed that they should not pursue moves away from the club this summer so that they can win the Scudetto this season, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the key players in the Inter squad who all had suitors around Europe spoke with each other at the beginning of August and agreed that they should not try and leave the club.
Players such as Nicolo Barella, Lautaro Martinez, Denzel Dumfries, Milan Skriniar and Alessandro Bastoni have all been linked with a move at various points in the transfer window but none of them have ever told Inter that they want to leave.
The closest to leaving was Milan Skriniar who agreed on personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain but still made it clear that he would rather stay if a bid is not accepted for him.
