Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has said that Inter are in a very difficult Champions League group after the draw was made on Thursday, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during an interview with Sky Sport Italia after the draw that was made at the UEFA headquarters in Switzerland, via FCInternews, the Real Madrid coach admitted that the Nerazzurri have been dealt a tough hand given they have got Bayern Munich and Barcelona in their group.

“Inter are in a difficult group with Barcelona and Bayern, Napoli are in a more balanced group. Juve have PSG… In a couple of months there are so many matches, we play so much in a short time, there is no point in making predictions.”

Inter were in the same group as Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid side last season and it was Los Blancos who won the group, with Inter managing to qualify for the next round by finishing second.

Inter would then lose in the Round of 16 against Liverpool, the team that Real Madrid went on to beat in the final in Paris. Simone Inzaghi will have his work cut out to qualify from the group again.
