Inter will begin their Champions League campaign with a home fixture against Bayern Munich on the seventh of next month.
This is revealed now that the scheduling for all of the group stage fixtures for the season has been decided, as reported by FCInterNews, with Inter beginning their quest to reach the knockout stages of the competition for the second season in a row by hosting the German champions.
Inter will have little time to collect themselves after the first Milan derby of the season on September 3, as not long after they will have to face Bayern, one of Europe’s most formidable club sides and among the favourites for the Champions League.
Less than a week after, on September 13, the Nerazzurri will travel to the Czech Republic to face Viktoria Plzen, and then in October they will face Barcelona home and away in the space of less than a week, before finishing their campaign off against Viktoria and Bayern again.
