Inter have suffered a defeat in Serie A before matchday 4 for the first time since the 2018/19 season when Luciano Spalletti was in charge of the team.
The stat was shared on Twitter by Opta Paolo who specialises in statistics and they revealed that the opening day defeat for Inter against Sassuolo in 2018/19 was the last time the Nerazzurri lost one of their first three games of a Serie A campaign.
Inter were beaten 3-1 by Lazio on Friday night.
