Inter striker Romelu Lukaku will miss Tuesday’s Serie A clash with Cremonese through a thigh strain and is also at risk for the Milan derby against AC Milan next Saturday.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the 29-year-old has picked up a strain to his left thigh in training and will miss the match against Cremonese, whilst he is a doubt for the clash with the Rossoneri with the recovery timeline not yet clear.

Lukaku has started all three of Inter’s opening matches of the Serie A season, although the Belgian came off the pitch as part of a triple substitution during the second half of Friday’s Serie A loss to Lazio.

However, the 29-year-old will not play a part in the Nerazzurri’s next match, and he could also be forced to sit out the team’s first Milan derby since his return from Chelsea on loan this summer.
