Edin Dzeko is the favourite ahead of Joaquin Correa to start in attack for Inter in tomorrow evening’s Serie A clash with Cremonese.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Bosnian looks to be the likeliest player to fill in for Romelu Lukaku leading the line alongside Lautaro Martinez in the starting eleven.

Inter will have to find a solution in attack for at least tomorrow’s match with Lukaku out with a thigh strain, and so the attacking depth will be tested for the first time this season.

Dzeko had been a regular starter throughout much of last season, with the 36-year-old forming the first-choice strike pair alongside Martinez, and it looks as though this partnership will be resumed tomorrow.

Meanwhile, youngster Valentin Carboni is set to be called up for tomorrow’s match, with the young Argentine having been designated as the “fifth forward” in the squad and ready to be included on the bench to ensure there are attacking options.
