Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi has put the emphasis on finding composure and concentration in the video analysis session of the team’s 3-1 loss to Lazio on Friday with his players.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the coach has tried to impress on his players the need to cut out the kinds of defensive errors they showed in decisive moments against the Biancocelesti.

Inter played well at times at the Stadio Olimpico despite the final scoreline, but in his review of the entire match in video analysis, Inzaghi found many instances where the players either switched off tactically or lacked the calmness necessary to execute their functions on the pitch.

The coach feels that these issues are untenable if the team are to get the results they want from the matches going forward, and so he spoke with his players about the importance of building up their concentration levels.

Inzaghi detailed the instances in which the team lost their shape or in which individual errors caused problems defensively throughout the loss to the Biancocelesti, and emphasized the role that remaining switched-on throughout matches and having a calm attitude will play in cutting out these errors.
