Inter striker Romelu Lukaku could be back from injury after the international break, and could miss all six matches before the break.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Belgian could be out for the Nerazzurri’s matches against not just Cremonese and AC Milan but also Bayern Munich, Torino, Viktoria Plzen, and Udinese.

Yesterday Lukaku picked up a thigh injury which tests today revealed to be caused by muscle tears to the flexors in his left thigh.

The 29-year-old was always set to miss out on tomorrow’s Serie A clash with Cremonese in addition to being at serious risk for the Milan derby against AC Milan over the weekend, but the injury could rule him out for six matches in total between Serie A and the Champions League.

The Nerazzurri play six more matches before the first international break of the season at the end of next month, and Lukaku could be ruled out of all six of them.
