Inter striker Romelu Lukaku is likely to make his return from a thigh strain in the team’s Serie A clash with Torino next month.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the clash with the Granata is likely to be the point at which the 29-year-old is fit enough to play, and that he will miss the team’s next three matches.
It is confirmed that Lukaku will miss at the very least tomorrow evening’s Serie A clash with Cremonese at the San Siro after picking up a strain to his left thigh in training yesterday.
However, the Belgian’s availability for marquee clashes with AC Milan in Serie A and Bayern Munich in the Champions League is still an open question, although in both cases it is very doubtful.
According to Tuttosport, the likeliest match in which Lukaku will be back on the pitch will be when the Nerazzurri host Torino on September 11.
