Inter are set to hold another meeting with the agent of Lazio defender Francesco Acerbi today as he gets closer and closer to joining on loan.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri will meet with Acerbi’s agent Federico Pastorello today, with the move possibly being completed on Wednesday.
Inter, Lazio, and Acerbi and his representatives have everything essentially agreed on the terms of the 34-year-old’s loan move to the Nerazzurri, with the former Sassuolo defender set to join as a replacement for Andrea Ranocchia to reinforce the backline.
However, more talks are still needed to finalize things, and then Acerbi will have his medicals and put pen to paper on the loan move until the end of the season.
The 34-year-old will join on a season-long dry loan without a fee, with the Nerazzurri having the option to make the move permanent for €4 million next summer, and the player will earn €2.1 million net over the course of the campaign.
