Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin believes that the apprehension of Inter President Steven Zhang is currently standing in the way of a deal for Lazio defender Francesco Acerbi on loan being done.
Reporting in a tweet, Biasin explained that for the time being, the Nerazzurri President is not convinced that signing the 34-year-old would be the right course of action, and this means that it will not go through yet.
Inter have looked to be close to getting a deal done for Acerbi for some time, but they have yet to put the finishing touches on it.
There are only a couple more days left before the summer transfer window slams shut, but for now the Nerazzurri are holding off on actually getting a deal done for the Lazio defender.
According to Biasin, one of the main delays is that Zhang has not yet given the decisive go-ahead as he is not fully convinced by Acerbi.
He tweeted, “Inter President Zhang is not convinced on the signing of Acerbi. The move for the Lazio defender to Inter is still an open discussion.”
#Inter: patron #Zhang non convinto dell’operazione #Acerbi. Il passaggio del difensore della #Lazio in nerazzurro è ancora in discussione.
