Only the final few details remain before Inter complete the signing of defender Francesco Acerbi on loan from Lazio.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that all parties are fully committed to the move going ahead, and the medicals should take place tomorrow before the Nerazzurri wrap up his signing.

There is no longer a Plan B or any alternative targets to Acerbi as Inter seek to reinforce their defense with one more signing to take the place of Andrea Ranocchia as the main backup for Stefan de Vrij at the heart of the back three.

The Nerazzurri have everything in place to get a deal for Acerbi done, and now they will seek to finally pull the trigger and sign the Lazio defender in the next couple days.

Acerbi’s medicals on the move are scheduled for tomorrow, and then he will become an Inter player for the rest of the season.
