Bayer Leverkusen have made inquiries about the availability of Inter wingback Robin Gosens.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the Bundesliga team have asked the Nerazzurri about the 28-year-old, with a decision needed very soon given that the transfer window slams shut very soon.

Gosens joined Inter from Atalanta during the January transfer window, but so far the German has not really managed to cement a place for himself on the left of the team despite having been signed with the intention of being the long-term successor for Ivan Perisic.

The 28-year-old has not really found form yet this season, although it remains to be seen whether or not the Nerazzurri would give any consideration to letting him leave, particular before the end of the summer window.

However, they will have the interest of Leverkusen to consider over the last couple of days of the transfer window.
