Bayer Leverkusen are getting ready to make Inter an offer worth €30 million to sign wingback Robin Gosens before the summer transfer window closes.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage that the the Germans are preparing an offer to sign the 28-year-old on a €2 million paid loan with a €28 million purchase option that becomes an obligation next summer under certain conditions.

Leverkusen have made contact with the Nerazzurri showing an interest in signing Gosens, and according to Di Marzio their interest in the German is serious enough that they are ready to make a significant offer to sign him.

The Bundesliga team would offer to initially loan Gosens for €2 million but the deal offered would contain an obligation to sign him on a permanent basis for €28 million.

The main obstacle to a deal being done would be the fact that the Nerazzurri would then have to seek out a replacement for Gosens to be signed before the summer transfer window slams shut.

According to Di Marzio, Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso is one possibility who they have sounded out in the past couple days, but the Spaniard appears to rather be on the verge of a move to Barcelona.
