Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is thinking about handing the start to both Edin Dzeko and Joaquin Correa in this evening’s Serie A clash with Cremonese.

This according to Italian news outlet Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri coach is thinking about resting Lautaro Martinez from the start against the newly-promoted team in view of the Milan derby on September 3 and starting Dzeko and Correa in his place.

Romelu Lukaku is injured and so two out of Martinez, Dzeko, and Correa will likely start against Cremonese, and it has been expected that Dzeko and Martinez would be the pair to start.

However, Inzaghi could see Martinez as too important for the derby against AC Milan as well as the Champions League group stage opener against Bayern Munich to risk his fitness or energy levels in this evening’s match.

If this is the case, then the coach could decide to start Dzeko and Correa against Cremonese.
