Inter are considering the possibility of replacing wingback Robin Gosens with Stuttgart’s Borna Sosa if they decide to accept an offer from Bayer Leverkusen for the 28-year-old.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Croatian 24-year-old would be one of the Nerazzurri’s main targets if they accept an offer worth €30 million for Gosens, whilst Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso and a swap deal involving Mitchel Bakker are also options.

Leverkusen have not made Inter a formal offer yet, but the Bundesliga have made their intentions clear to the Nerazzurri regarding targeting Gosens, and they are ready to offer an initial paid loan worth €2 million plus a €28 million purchase obligation next summer.

Should this offer arrive and Inter decide to accept it before the transfer window deadline, they would look to replace the German, with Sosa one of their main targets.

Chelsea’s Alonso is another possibility, whilst a possible loan swap involving former Paris Saint-Germain left-back Bakker from Leverkusen was also included in discussions concerning Gosens.
