Inter midfielder Nicolo Barella expects that this evening’s Serie A clash with Cremonese will not be easy in spite of the two teams’ respective status.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster DAZN, the 25-year-old stressed that he expects this evening’s opposition to play an organized game and stay in the match, though also emphasizing that the Nerazzurri have also worked hard to prepare for the challenge they’re up again.

Inter are looking to bounce back from Friday’s Serie A loss to Lazio, the first major setback of the season, and on paper they find a fairly straightforward fixture in which to get back to winning ways against newly-promoted Cremonese.

However, the Lombard team have shown their quality in their three matches so far even though they’ve been unlucky not to take any points, and the Nerazzurri will know that they have hard work ahead of them.

Barella gave his thoughts on the match, stating that “I think we prepared well for this match. They deserved more than they got from their recent losses. They’re a well-organized team who are good on the counter, but we prepared well for them.”
